Take a stroll through the Conference Center with an Ebony & Ivory drink in Federal Way, WA on a Saturday afternoon for some Indian inspired art, vendors, writers, and of course the Akhaan Book. This event is for pure vibes. I have not found anything in our community in the PNW that emphasizes art/cultural heritage beyond festivals or music events. As an author, I really want to co-create these spaces for others that want to showcase their artistic talent aside from their jobs/careers etc. You are welcome to purchase any items or just come for a quick stroll. We will have some Indian/Pakistani inspired soft music in the background.
